Hacking Nethack DS and Supercard Lite?

I've heard the SCLite is having trouble with some homebrew, but does Nethack DS work? If so, with or without the moonshell patch?

I posted it elsewhere, but it works - just not very well. Firstly, yes, you have to moonshell patch it, then when it starts, hit F6 (to change the font to a more legible one). Unfortunately, saving is iffy (sometimes works, sometimes doesnt). This is a toughee, as you probably know how long nethack games can get.
