I was letting my nephew play with my stuff about a year back and he decided he wanted to take out the 3DS. First thing he did was update firmware. I have been busy renovating my house but now I have time to figure out what he did...

All I get when I regular boot is the 3DS Luma screen then black.

I have been off the scene for a while so I was wondering if someone has any ideas how how to fix this...

Thanks

Whoa, Luma3DS 5.5. That's quite old.

https://3ds.hacks.guide/a9lh-to-b9s.html

You need to follow this guide to update to B9S, and you will update Luma3DS to the latest version as a part of the guide. That will solve the problem. Based on your settings, I don't think you're using an emuNAND, but if you are, you need to transfer it to your sysNAND if you want to keep your settings from before.
