Okay, check it out. I am taking on my very first high-end hardware mod. In all reality, i'm probably making a brand new thing.

I want to take a n64 controller, hard-wire it through USB to a Raspberry Pi and also hardwire a MicroSD card slot into it, mod a screen into the top of the N64 controller, hardwire that, run it all from a very lightweight version of linux, and wrap it all up in said N64 controller.

My questions are these:

1. Would this even be within the hardware limitations?
2. If so, what version of linux would you recommend?
3. If I can get this off the ground, would anyone be interested in buying one?

I won't need to worry about the emulator, I already have a majorly chopped and hacked version made for small screens (all options pre-set, runs full screen on bootup with controller driven ROM menu, etc...)

Not sure about buying one, but I can't wait to see some pics once it's done. What system(s) are you planing on emulating?

you should mod one of these into it

second official controler = Multiplayer :D
