Homebrew Need help with old hacked Wii.....

Not sure if this is the right place to post so, so sorry if it isnt, but.....

I have a hacked Wii and all of the stuff on it is probably out of date, even thought its all working fine. So today I was going to put some new wads on it. So I removed the sd card, put it in my pc, copied the wads into the wad folder and.....when I put the sd back in the Wii nothing is showing when I launch HB menu and also USB loader isnt working any more.....help?

Does it sound like a problem with the Wii or the SD card?

You will need a wad manager to install the wads.

Do you have an 'apps' folder on your sd card root? That should contain your usb loader and also wad manager elf files that are required to launch the apps.

All of that stuff was already on it. All I did was put some new wads in the wad folder and now nothing is showing when I launch HBM...it only shows those floating bubbles.

When you press 1, is the SD card selected?

Not sure. The SD option looks blacked out and I cant click it but I can click the USB option.

Please press on the Homebrew Channel the "1" Button and check the Source.It is maybe not set to "Intern SD Slot".

Things to consider: Sd card is fat32? sd, sdhc or sdxc? Wii menu is 4.3u or below? Sd plays sound on wiiMenu when inserted? try move any channel/save to the sd cardto see if only hbc is not recognizing it.
if your softmods is outdated, then modMii is your friend: it has tools to update all outdated hacks.

Did you have an USB Device attached ?
You can use the Wii Motion Controller´s Pointer or the D-Pad of it.

Are you trying to run them from SD? if yes you are missing a IOS with Trucha Bug, i think it was IOS80.

To be honest remodding with modmii is like almost always the best answer if you're not sure.
It also helps with learning how the wii works in general.
