Hacking Need help updating the wii.

hey, so I recently got an old Wii from someone was completely formatted, when i decided to boot it up the first thing i did was try to update the wii but it gave me the error code 32004 so i tried to find a fix for my problem but I couldnt find a single one because they all said i needed the homebrew launcher and more i also tried to install homebrew using str2hax but every single time i tried it would freeze my wii. Is there any solution for this?

You can use a "newer" Wii Game Disc or ModMii like in the Thread explained.


For the str2hax Exploit please:

Did you have used this Guide and these Settings please ?

• Go to Auto-Obtain DNS (Not IP Address), then select No, then Advanced Settings.
  
• Type in 18.188.135.9 as the primary DNS.
• Type in 18.188.135.9 as the secondary DNS.
• Select Confirm, then select Save.

I have tried it a Moment ago and it needs 88 Seconds,then the Exploit loads.

What do u mean str2hax will freeze your wii? If the hackmii installer loads but doesn't allow u to continue, use Modmii's hackmii solutions wizard. Heck u should use modmii's main wizard regardless in my opinion, it will make the experience a lot easier and possibly more educational too

when I try to install the homebrew launcher with str2hax my wii will not respond at all. I have also tried to use modmii's solution wizard, the only solution that i can possibly use to homebrew is str2hax since letterbomb does not work with the current system version im stuck on (2.2).

Alright so you don't seem to be able to answer my question properly. That's fine, send a picture of what the wii looks like when it "freezes" and then we'll have a better idea of what we're working with
