Hi guys,
I have one of these Retroscaler BlueRetro adapters for my N64.

The FW is: https://github.com/RetroScaler/N64-Blueretro/releases/tag/v24.04
I can format/read/write mpk memory data at all memory banks with the help of the web GUI, but my N64 says it can not read from the virtual memory pack. When I attach a real memory pack to port 2, this one works fine, but not the virtual one.
I can also switch between rumble and memory with the home button and the N64 recognize the difference. But in memory mode it seems corrupt.
Games with built in memory pack manager can detect the broken virtual pack and offer to repair/format it. But also this method fails.
I don´t have further modification at this N64 that could interfere.
I tried to write a preformated mpk file from darthcloud, but it does not change anything.
I had different FWs versions.
I used the Altra64 format instead of the web GUI or ingame functionality. No change.
I changed the memory bank and also the output port.
The funny thing is, I just sold another N64 where I integrated an ESP32 and here the memory pack worked perfect.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Otherwise, the only option for now is to use a physical pack.
THANKS
update:
i have now probably found the reason. if i connect more ports, the n64 recognizes the virtual memory pack. however, if i also assign memory packs to the other controllers, problems occur again. then usually only one random pack works and the others are not recognized at all, or switch themselves on and off every second. however, one pack is enough, so i have deactivated the other memory packs and it works satisfactorily.
