I want to be able to make Hip-Hop tracks and such... Korg is just all techno sounds, and it's hard to fight around it..

Are there any other games that can appeal to me?

It sucks... therefore.. if the creators can't make a better beat... how can I?

with korg-10, you have to play around to get the sounds you want. it may be frustrating, but with the right attitude, you'd be amazed at how many sounds come from that.

i mean, that's the kind of stuff DJs use. otherwise you're talking about sampling bits of music from elsewhere. but even a lot of that stuff can be emulated pretty well from the synths in korg. if you are serious about being some kind of DJ, even a hip-hop one, you owe it to yourself to learn how to make sounds with a synth.

I want something like FL Studio... That's proper beats...
I'd never use just synth if I wanted to become a DJ... a program like Korg limits you too much.. needs to be more open like FL Studio where you can create anything..

i'm sure someone will get right on that. maybe while they're at it they can put a Flash authoring software on the DS as well. you know, while we're dreaming!

You can try Daigasso Band Brothers DX... for simple things... But it's in japanese and u must get used to the controls before u synthesize

Erm.. drums.. and base...
The drums in this thing don't sound like proper drums, they're corny to me.. I tried to play around with them to get a proper feel.. but nope.. you can't with that program/game..

You can't make the beats out of the hip-hop songs of today with Korg.. that Ja-Rule one was a remix.. listen to the real song and you'll see the big-ass difference.

hiphopsongs beats can be anything. you can do three 6 mafia style beats with it and if you wanna do dj premier use the fucking samples.
