I suggest that you seek the "3d movie viewer" which allows you to slice out a major step from the whole process. You can convert the video to the 3ds format without converting THAT to .cia, so you can just put the 3ds format video in the root directory of the SD.
I can't share the file, it's fairly easy to find yourself, also "Mobiclip Multicore Encoder" is also something for you to find.
