mediatek drivers "flash on and off" when fastboot cable is connected

hey everyone, I have been trying to unbrick my kindle fire hd 7 with a fastboot cable and the fastboot drivers aren't responding... I opened device manager and I plugged in the device... the mangager refreshed recognized the driver then a spilt second later, it refreshed again but, it was disconnected... picture for reference of what it looks like deactivated... I really need some help on this... also let me know if my snapshot is too big... I'll be happy to correct it
