Hacking M3 GBA Expansion Problem

I recently bought an m3 gba expansion from Kick Gaming. I put some GBA roms on the microSDHC in the GBA directory. When I try to load one, I get a white screen... and nothing. It does this for every rom. Any help is appreciated!

You may want to try recharging the expansion pack. Leave it inserted while you charge the console overnight.
