Who cares if they sell consoles for a loss? If they have good games it will make up for it.

Cheaper console = better for consumers.

I'm not interested in Nintendo's financial success I just want the cheaperr console brah

Yeah, I get a kick out of how GoNintendo report their gaming news. I actually did own some Nintendo stock at one time (wish now I hadn't sold it), but, truly, I'm like you; I just want them to make good products for me as a consumer. It's an even trade, as far as I see it. They make loads of cash, we get good games and such.

Well down here in South Africa the stats are as follows:

Wii Starter Pack: Wii Console, 2 Remotes, Wii Sports and Wii Play R3,299.951~R33000
PS3 Starter Pack: 60GB PS3 Console + 2 SixAxis Controllers and 2 Games R5,699.95~R57000
Xbox 360 Pro Value Bundle: Pro Console + WWE '08, FIFA '08, Forza 2 and Viva Pinata R3,999.95~R40000

Basically each one contains the console, remotes/controllers and some games.

The US prices would be:

Wii: $492,50
PS3: $850,68
Xbox: $596.96

So it seems that the Wii is still the cheapest out there and all 3 are in stock.

Well over here in NZ Xbox 360 and PS3 have had price drops this Christmas but the Wii is still the same price on release
