Homebrew Is software based screen capture possible anymore?

I'm new to the homebrew scene. Got a N2DS running the latest Luma and looking desperately for a way to capture video from it.

Most places loop me around to BootNTR, but for the life of me I cannot get that to run correctly.

Their github page mentions that the latest build doesn't work right with the current Luma and offers up a 3GS loader as a workaround but noob that I am I cannot figure out what that means in terms of practical steps I'd need to take.

Is there just currently no way to do this? Has anyone got it working lately? If so, how?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

    I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
