Fairly new Wii 3.4e, Not LU64, BannerBomb, HBC, Truncha Restorer 36 / 15, Cios 10, IOS Downgrade, Cios Downgrader to 3.2e, Upgrade to cfw4.0e, IOS 60 installer, then PreLoader .29, which i have done on a fair few times on friends wii's,

But this time PreLoader was just about finshed ( ....waiting.....5s....) and froze sat there for 15mins, had no choice but to restart, now Nothing just a black screen, you hear the dive loading, but thats it, remote wont sync

Is there anything i can do

Power on while holding reset, should hopefully get you the preloader screen.
If not, and you dont have bootmii installed/NAND backup (which you should if you have an old wii) then there isn't much luck for you.

IOS60 installer? The one which prompts whether you wish to install shop and IOS61 as well? It might have downloaded a stub IOS60..

Hi,
Sorry to confirm but IOS60 Pacther, is downloading the STUB IOS60 , Looks like it downloads the latest and not an specific version of IOS60, as you were on 4.1 you depend on it for System Menu. Preolader is fine, is only that you notice the problem at restart.
I Kill my Wii the same way...i dont now how to recover, maybe sending it back to Nintendo.

No BootMii, newer wii, had upgrade to Waninkoko 4.0e

Yes "The one which prompts whether you wish to install shop and IOS61 as well" that installed fine as i have used the same file before a few times

PreLoader froze after it does its usual things
Looking for PreLoader,
Not Found
Installing PreLoader
Moving System Menu
....Restarting ...5s....
Then Froze

Try holding the reset button when powering on the Wii, hopefully you'll get to Preloader menu.

That was the first thing i tried, "Holding Reset before Powering On"

I am now trying a game cube contoller in port 4, is there a trick to pressing all 4 directions ?

That release was a long time ago and I believe it blindly downloads the latest ios60. Therefore a stub...

Bloody hell, yes that makes sense, thats why pre-loader wouldnt install, 60 was stuffed (stub)

Ok its under warranty, so when i get it back, what should i use instead, is there a off-line version, or something else

I have just read this, i forgot all about 60 gone and 70 in
