well i picked up a wd hdd drive (2tb) im transferring now.I guess you are lucky to have a working flash drive then.
Most users who have freeze issue when dumping it's due to using flash over hdd.
I don't really know why flash are not working correctly with the wii/wiiu/homebrew, I didn't create the usb/filesystem library, but there's definitely something wrong with the drivers or hardware.
apparently, not all flash drives are affected, but unfortunately MarioMasta64's drive is.
When we suggest users to not use flashdrive it's to prevent having this freeze issue one day, and because we don't know how to fix it. the only solution available is either try and use a working flash drive (no idea how hard it will be), or use a hdd.
You an use the forwarder booter I made to launch it from Priiloader with AHB access. (link)
Just install the UNEO 5.1 forwarder and install that dol to Priiloader instead of the forwarder dol.
i gormatted using wii backup manager to ntfs, ill try fat32 nowhheuuuu, no it doesn't seem right
neither the free space nor the used one.
did you format the drive with only one 2TB FAT32 partition?
maybe you need to force a reset/reload of the partition.
try this :
USBLoaderGX > Settings > HDD settings > Click on the first option to force a refresh of the partition.
.wbfs auto-splits at 4gb so no needI'd recommend just using CFG USB loader and formatting the drive as WBFS.
FAT32 and other formats like it aren't that friendly with large files; aka 4.6GB+
i got nothing back ***dab*** and alright, i just turn the wii off and back on once i download covers (usb loader autoboots)sorry that you formatted and lost things. I hope you get your important files back.
I'm not sure the freeze after downloading a cover is just you or not.
I don't have a freeze when I do, but I've read some users with that issue too.
maybe it depends how much covers you downloaded, or how big the content you transferred (did you have the custom banner enabled for gamecube games too ?)
maybe there's a memory issue when downloading too much/big files at once.
