Alright I haven't used dos since I was like 10 years old, and don't remember what to type to load games. I have used dosbox on PC with a front-end loader I was able to use. But I have had it on a phone, didn't know how to load games, and now I have it for 3ds, and want to play old dos games. Is there a specific folder I need to create? And what would I type in to load the game.? And lol there is no c; drive on a 3ds so I don't know what to do

I did manage to get this working but it's very slow, there were difficulties getting it to scale and center, and there is no keyboard support. It kind of isn't worth the effort.

Unfortunately I don't remember exactly what I did, but I know I had to basically install a game on my PC DOSBox, then copy the contents of that directory over to the right spot in the 3DS, and edit a config file on the 3DS corresponding to the DOS retroarch core. You won't be able to get this working from just the retroarch menu. There's a post somewhere in the largest 3DS dosbox thread on this forum that explained how to do it.

Yes I'm using the retroarch core, and I don't have a PC all I have is a smartphone. So basically I might as well just uninstall dosbox then? Sux I wanted to play master of Orion 2
