ROM Hack How to get the ICON?

Hi, anybody know how to rip the ICON from the DS rom? Is it required some C++ skill? Because I don't have any skill in C++.
Btw in the game review in the top right corner icon's there's font "G", is it from the ICON itself, or you GBAtemp guys add it by yourself.
