Hacking How to downgrade?

I've been stuck with this dilemma. I really want to play DQ9 (J) and it won't run on the newest firmware. I want to downgrade. But I'm too newbish to figure out how. Can someone help me? Or give me some clues?

What type of R4 card is it?

What kernel are you running now (from what site)?

My bad, I forgot to mention I'm using the lastest unofficial YSMenu firmware.

It works fine with YSMenu for me.

You downgrade your YSMenu by rebuilding it using an older version of the DSTT firmware.

I think he has his problem mixed up; he's not completely up to date.

If he is indeed using v1.17a12, then he needs to update his infolib.dat and savlib.dat.

I think I got it from the first time it came out. Where'd you get yours? I could just reinstall it using yours.
