Homebrew Question How to decrypt MM2 save-file from OFW Switch?

Hi,

Iam trying to decrypt the save-file it's downloaded courses from my friends legit OFW Switch. His Switch patched, so no CFW available. Is there a way to achieve this? I read about the LibHac HacTool and the SMM Course Decrypter but I'm not sure if this even works due to his OFW device?

How can we access and extract/decrypt his safe-files?

he would need to buy unpatched tablet and link his account in unpatched switch.
he need to enable cloud saves backup and transfer his saves,
load atmosphere with edizon and get his saves on unpatched switch. thats only way that I can think of.

Assuming your friends switch has the RCM bug, boot it with the RCM memloader payload, extract the game save file, then use lockpick RCM to dump your keys (in case you want to modify the save and re-sign it), then use hactoolnet to unpack the save. zero risk of ban if you do not modify anything on the console.

thanks for the info. Unfortunately we do not have a unpatched console which was not banned already.

I wonder if people still dump recent MM2 courses.
