Hacking Question Help with ChoiDujour NX Updates

Hi all, I am trying to finally update my Switch! I am at 3.0.1 and I would like to go to a high enough firmware to run all the games.. I am a SXOS PRO user. I tried to use ChoiDuJour NX to update to 5.1. I booted Choi through the SXOS homebrew menu the first time and through ReiNX_1.7.1,, Both times the process completed and both times I got stuck on the switch logo at boot. I tried booting through ReiNX and through SXOS. I redownloaded all the firmware file (xbins) Each time I restored using SXOS restore feature. I guess my questions are:

1. Does ChoiDuJour work with HBL loaded through SXOS?
2. Whats the highest firmware needed right now? I don't go online, just for XCI files..
3. Is there a benefit going all the way to 6.1?
   
4. Is there a fast way just to restore the firmware? Choi finishes in 30 seconds but the system restore takes like half an hour..

I tried again, I cant figure out the issue. Boot loop on switch logo....
