Hi guys, first of all thanks for helping, trying to go through the coronavirus times.
I have hacked my wii u trough a youtube video, i think i almost got it working but then i dont know if i deleted something in haxchi, since each time i try to load it it goes to a black screen with a -5 in it.
Can someone help please?
Thanks again

here is a list of error code :

-5 means it couldn't find or read the file on the SD card.
either it's missing, misplaced, misnamed.

Verify you have that :
sd:/wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf
(I wrote that from memory, I hope I didn't make a mistake)

EDIT: Notification did not work today,it seems.....sorry Cyan was a lot quicker.:)

Hello.:)

Maybe the Wii U can not read your SD Card (formatted with FAT32 ?)
or
The Homebrew Launcher is missing.:(

Please only use "good" Guides and Manuals like this:
https://wiiu.hacks.guide/

Youtube Guides are often outdated or incomplete.

Thank you.:)

the wiiu could read the SD card, or else it would have been error -3 or -4
Like I said, 5 is specifically: SD card found. SD card mounted correctly (so it's FAT32), but file couldn't be found/read.

I'm 50% betting on the common user error :
he placed the /apps on sd:/apps/
instead of sd:/wiiu/apps/
