ROM Hack Gateway3ds, games stuck at loading screen

Hi everybody, I recently put a .3ds game (yu-gi-oh saikyou card battle) on my microSD card for my gateway 3DS. The game is in JAP and my 3ds is from north america, but I got the gateway 3ds (emunand) at 11.0. When I want to load the game, I click on it and I come to the loading screen and it get stuck there.

I had the same problem several month ago for another game, it was the emunand that was not up to date. But for this game, even if it is in JAP, it should work because I got the latest firmware.

If some of you could help me, I would appreciate.

You could use Luma3ds instead of gatewait/gatebreak/deservesTheGatehate/gateway.

Try using the GW rom tool to defrag the SD card. Its possible that the SD needs defragging. Or just format the sd and copy back the roms you play.

Other suggestions are try getting the rom from another source (current one could be a bad dump)

that yugioh .3ds is a bad one, you will have to use the .cia version

Thanks to everyone for your answers. I already tried to use the asia81 version of the .3ds or .cia game found on -snip- web site. Unfortunately, the .3ds from asia81 doesn't load at all, it give me a blank case for the game, I can't even click on the game to start it. For the .cia version, I can't import it with blueboxmenu, at 99% it say that there was an error. That's why I found this .3ds version that seemed to work. I tried to follow the steps for alot of tutorial for luna, a9hl, rxtools but I don't understand the tutorial. In fact, I don't get it at all, I don't even know what are these things. I bought my gateway3ds 1-2 years ago and I always used it. Is there anyway to make it work with gateway3ds, because everthing else seems so complicated.
