What mice you guys use for gaming? Preferably for FPS (counter strike 1.6!) but anything goes. I'd like something around $20. A few buttons, etc, accurate mousing you know the drill. Wired or wireless I don't have a preference. I would just like some offhand experiences and recommendations.

Thanks!

I'm not sure you'll get a decent gaming-style mouse for as little as $20.

I'm using this one - It's hardly top-of-the-range but it's good for the price.

Didn't they call that Razer Copperhead mouse the ultimate gaming mouse somewhere?

@Satangel Lol, we just practically made the same post.

I use a Razer Deathadder. A somewhat older gaming mouse, but still one of the best.

This is a great mouse

I'd recommend anything of the same kind, just it may be slightly pricey :S

Yup DeathAdder is the best as far as I know. I tried a G5 but much preferred the DeathAdder. The Lachesis is supposed to be uncomfortable.

I'll also add that I love the deathadder. Definitely my favorite. I can't stand the logitech products for some reason.

They're good mouses (mice? idk haha) but I personally like the look and feel of my death adder.
rubberized top helps for sweaty hands during intense matches. haha.

1.6? do you like it more than source, or just haven't felt like getting source?

Thanks for all the suggestions! Razer seems to be the "alienware" of the mice world. In design and concept. $20 was probably too little but I'm very frugal (though buying a fancy gaming mouse can hardly be considered frugal!) so i'll make it work on that budget somehow... My friend has an old logitech that I've been liking so far, so I guess it's a tossup between the two. I wish I had an electronics store nearby that carried these stuffs so's I can try them out first hand.

I've been playing CS since back-in-the-day. Ma steamID is 6 digits yo! I somehow giot source for free but I'm not very into it. It's way too easy compared to 1.6 and while I'm no pro at either game (although I do like gungame/deathmatch on source better) I just dont like source, Call me a hater, call me old-fashioned, but anyway you flip it, Source Is Bad

everyone thinks I am mad, but they give me mad sniper skills.

I just cringed.
I honestly hate any mouse that has a trackball.
For those who aren't used to it, it makes even web browsing difficult.
I can see why some people may prefer them but I treat them like a bag of free herpes.

they are far easier when you get used to them abd stop you getting carpel tunnel syndrome. they also have the added bonus of stopping most people using your computer too
