Examples of this is TF2's Mann Vs Machine or Black Ops's Zombie mode. I'm looking for a nice game for PC where I can just kill endless waves of whatever in co-op. Any suggestions?

Saints Row: The Third's 'whored' mode (see wut they did thar) is pretty fun, and has co-op.

I reckon the answer could probably be "pretty much most games featuring shooting as a component and a multiplayer since around Gears of War 2" although variations on the theme have been around for a lot longer.
For my money some of the later Halo games did it pretty well (indeed such a mode was probably the most fun I had with said games) and could be tweaked to the point where I almost remembered the customisability of Perfect Dark.

Gears of war 3 had one of the best horde modes I've ever played, to the point where that's the only thing I play in the game anymore.

Agreed, I love horde mode in Gears 3, but I wish I could find a similar experience on the PC. I'll have to look at Killiing Floor. Thanks for the responses guys.
