Hello,

I replaced the Gamepad battery with a new 3.7V 3600mAh battery purchased from iFixit.

We'll see how long it lasts.:yayu:

Have a good day everyone. ;)

I did the same. My gamepad went from approximately 3 hours to 6 hours with the lowest brightness level and power-saving mode on. Definitely a game changer.

Hello,

I'm back after a few weeks with some good news. :yayu:

I'm very happy with my purchase; it's a great battery for my controller, holding a charge for about 3 to 4 hours without needing to be recharged.:yay:

I recommend this battery.:yayu:

I frequently play Zen Piball 2.:gba:

Have a good day or evening everyone, and happy holidays! :grog::toot::yay:

The battery recharges quite quickly. :yayu:

If you want a longer lasting, higher capacity battery, get one of these from Amazon. I got one a year ago when it was $25, but they have been $19.99 for the past month. No issues.
I once bought a battery on Amazon and was disappointed; it must have been poor quality or something.

But now I've found what I was looking for.

As you know, there are dozens of sellers on Amazon. This particular battery has good reviews.

I previously got the same one as OP and it didn't last too long on charge, but after getting another, I was lucky and got a good battery. I only very briefly tested it so far, but it worked as expected and in line with previous observations.

Have you tested how long the battery actually lasts? I've seen fake ~8k mAh GamePad batteries elsewhere that appear to be about half the advertised capacity.

Also notice how the listing has two options for capacity, the listing aggregates ratings of both as the same product. I can't see many reviews as I don't have an Amazon account, so I can't judge based on that, but I'd advise caution.
