Hacking Format WiiU

Everytime I boot up the WiiU I get greeted with the update the system firmware.I have the urls blocked and it doesn`t update always fail on system 5.0.0.I want to know how do I get rid of the nag message about updating.I`m going to assume I need to format the WiiU and if I do will it delete homebrew channel and other stuff in vWii mode.

Actually, I'm not sure formatting it would do anything either. I'm not sure it is possible to get rid of the nag.

Oh ok.I would update to newest firmware but I don`t want it to be one of those cases like the 3DS that would only work on a certain firmware.I guest I have to deal with it unless someone knows of a solution.

You might be able to circumvent it by updating to, say, 5.1.0 (since it's still possible to run code) using a disc, I'm not sure if it'd delete the existing download.

Maybe.Is there a game out there with the 5.1.0 update on it?
