So I downloaded "something" to my FTP Server and then from my FTP Server to my PC.
The folders properties and such are completely broken.

You can see here I have enough room for it to "show the full folder name" yet that is the full folder name, still gives me the ... thing.
This is also occuring on my FTP Server seeable through FileZilla.

I cannot open this folder at all.

Opening it in properties shows lots of weird crap.
It seems to think its a file "Type of *file*:" and a folder: "File folder" and it thinks the extension is .264-ViSUM
Its size is apparently nothing which isnt true theres around 50GB used up in here.
Its created date isnt shown here but in filezilla it is shown.
All the other tabs are useless and security tab shows an error occured.

Some thought this may be because of a super long folder name but Im unsure if thats the case.
Any ideas how I can just completely wipe this?

Have you yet tried checking the filesystem with
chkdsk /f /x
in a cmd (started as administrator). Checking drive C: requires a reboot.

and/or

Try accessing the folder with a live linux (mount the drive read only, just to be sure).

I ended up doing dir /x and then ren AMERIC~1 foldername123 and then deleted foldername123, files are gone but ehh

Yeah, Win32 completely screws up when a name ends or starts in "."

You probably could have accessed it using the \\?\ trick, which forces using the NT api instead of Win32
