ROM Hack Extracting audio from ds games?

Well i have been looking for this for some time.Valkyrie profile ds has awesome music and i would love to extract it but not idea how.I tried a program called cri packet file maker to extract the cpk files from the rom but all i get is a lot of no extension files.Any idea how to use those files?

The sound is stored outside the cpk package in a file with .sdat extension if I remember correctly.

I extracted music from VP some time ago. To tell the truth, I got crappy quality (or it'ss my imagination. Other game music rips were more successful) so I suggest to download OST album.
