I'm trying to edit a BRRES file that came from Gamelion's WiiWare, "Furry Legends", almost both of the brres that i tried converting to .obj in Wiimms SZS tools and abmatt just gives me this:

ERROR: Traceback (most recent call last):

Because the BRRES files I don't think they're aren't in UTF-8.

Is there another way or an Windows program rather than BrawlBox or BrawlCrate? Because I'm trying to edit to convert those BRRES files to OBJ files so I can edit them for sure.
