Hacking DSTWO broken or things might have changed?

3DS has latest firmware and I have not used my DSTWO in maybe 4~ or so months

I throw it in with the new firmware update so I can launch the card, let it sit there for 5 minutes, and turn it off and back on to it updated

3DS won't even recognize the cards in it now, did something change so this update method doesn't work and I need an older firmware device to get my 3DS to recognize it for the update?

If this isn't the case, then my cart is likely broken.

If your 3ds had the latest firmware and your dstwo didn't when you inserted it into the 3ds, it won't recognize it. But, you still should be able to see an icon pop up like Alex Stormrider

Yeah that's what I mean, but I'm getting no icon.

Normally you can just sit at the error screen for like 5 minutes yo update but no icon to click.

try adjusting the supercard's position in the slot, or make sure the sd card is snugly fit in
