Hacking Downgrading from 11.6

I want to downgrade my n3dsxl from 11.6 to 9.2 . sysupdater always says failed to get CIA file info!
I heared that you can fix it when you boot hb through menuhax but menuhax isnt working on 11.6... or at least on my nintendo
I´ve been trying for hours,
can anyone help me?

You can't downgrade 11.6 without installing CFW first, which defeats the purpose.

Do you have CFW installed, and why do you want to downgrade?

Follow the above guide to install B9S and Luma3DS. While this is better than Gateway, which should be thrown into the garbage, installing B9S is the first step to getting Gateway working.

The ntrboot method doesn't require two 3DS systems, and it works on 11.6.

The ntrboot method requires a compatible DS flashcart. There are only three ways to install B9S on 11.6, which is required at this point if you want to be able to downgrade and use Gateway:

1. ntrboot method (requires a compatible DS flashcart)
2. DSiWare method (requires two 3DS systems or seedminer)
3. Hardmod method (requires taking apart and soldering your 3DS)

You have no other options.

There is no way to run Gateway or any other CFW using oot3dhax on 11.6. You only have three options on 11.6. There are no exceptions. I recommend the ntrboot method.

There's no reason I can think of to be on 11.4 after already installing CFW.
