Homebrew Dolphin 5.0 doesn't save Wii games

Hi. I have a problem with Dolphin 5.0

When I play SSBB, the game doesn't save any progress. I used Gecko OS to unlock everything, and then closed out of Gecko OS. When I booted up SSBB without Gecko OS, I saw that the game didn't save. I assume that autosave has been disabled, however I haven't been able to find where.

EDIT: I looked a bit on how to import save files, and it turns out I have all files in the data folder. Dolphin doesn't read them. I also noticed that there's nothing is in the savestates folder. Should I add in some kind of file there, or are savestates just used for TASing in Dolphin?

Turns out the problem was rather easy. I, for some reason, had Emulation State set to Broken. I set it to perfect and it's working (I had no idea about Emulation State in the first place). Feel free to delete this post of you wish.
