Do games on system memory stay?

Do eshop downloaded games that I have installed on the system memory stay on the emmunand after making it? And can I switch them back to the SD card after the fact?

emuMMC is initially just a copy of sysMMC so that should answer your first question. As for the second question, you will have to migrate them to the SD card.
