ROM Hack ctgp 7 cartridge version?

so yes i am asking soo many questions that i want answers too! so is there a way to install ctgp 7 onto mk7 catridge because i only have cartridge version and not enough space for cia mario kart 7 so please is there one?

Sorry, there isn't - cartridges are read-only.

Not install, but you can redirect the cartridge files to read the ones from your sd card. I dont know which are the new fancy methods of now, since last time i did that was with hans way back in 2015?

Not sure, luma uses layeredf to patch and redirect stuff, so dont know if that works for cartridge based games. You should ask in the luma thread, the ctgp-7 thread or wait here for a better response.

Just follow the normal CTGP7 install guide with your cart inserted, all CTGP7 does is run a modified NTR Selector and launch MK7

Doesn't matter if you have a cartridge or not, works the same way.

If I remember correctly, you need about 500MB free. Once the mod is installed you can remove the zip from the SD and it will take about 250MB.
If you do the manual install then it will just take 250MB

I’m sure you can find blank cartridges somewhere then u will need to convert it to 3ds with it implanted into mariokart 7

Those are DS carts, not 3DS carts, plus they mainly hold unmodified ROMs, and they're distributed in China as bootlegs

Even if it was possible to convert CTGP-7 to .3ds and magically write it to a retail cartridge you would lose all the extra features the CTGP-7 plugin offers such as the ability to play in custom communities, the speedometer, speed selector, etc
