Hacking City folk update

Okay when I put in ac:cf it says i need to update my wii. Anyway to bypass this?

Install IOS38. Since we can't post links here, use Google. Otherwise you can just boot it through Gecko OS, since the update is only for Wii Speak. Or you can install Starfall and disable disc updates. So you have a lot of choices.

Actually, the update isn't for Wiispeak...

The first time I booted up ACCF was through GeckoOS.

And I've been using GeckoOS for a while now, and I've been talking to people over Wiispeak.

So Wiispeak still works without updating.

Don't know what the update was for imo.

I'll use usb gecko then but would I be able to use wi gator with IOS38?

Yes, you can still use Wiigators backup loader with IOS38.
