I click the theme on the menu to install it but when I go back to the main menu, no theme is installed at all.. please help me

does it say "MenuHax Mode: ON"?
if so, you have some menuhax files leftover in emunand. use something like hblauncher_loader to enter *hax in emunand, go to menuhax_manager, and delete. this won't mess with anything in sysnand if your NANDs are unlinked.
