I have a little doubt with my Switch with SX-OS.
I'm trying to load roms from my pendrive (I tried with a pendrive and a card reader for MicroSD) plugged to the dock but it doesn't detect neither .xci or .nsp.
(I tried in root directory and into /switch/xci and /switch/nsp)

Do I need to do something else?

I read in other site that possibly the reasson is a problem with SXO Beta (2.6.1)

Could anybody help me?

Thank you very much.

2.6.1 won't cause any problems. That beta actually fixes the previous external device bug that was presented in 2.6, so 2.6.1 beta is what you want to be on.

What kind of external drive is it? How big is it?

You can try other folder structures:

USB:/sxos/xci/xci's here
USB:/nsp/nsp's here
USB:/updates/updates here
USB:/dlc/dlc here

If it's formatted to Exfat or Fat32 it should work, so there's not much else you could do. The games go on the root of the hdd and you did that. The pen drive may just not be compatible.

Edit: until this thread I didn't even know you could put them in folders. They've always worked for me on the root of the hdd but i use full sized hard drives.

Edit: Fat32 is recognized.
Oh, exFat is recognized too right now.

I formated my card reader with rufus and a 128kb cluster.
Before I was using the highest size of the cluster (formated with Windows)
