Can you use the switches NFC capabilities to do arbitrary code execution?

This more than likely wont work, however I thought it would be a cool idea if it were to. I was thinking, using a NFC card which is formatted correctly to be compatible with the Nintendo Switch, could you do ACE? What makes me think there is a slight chance this could be possible is the fact that you can store small amounts of data, including files, to an NFC card. Could you then scan this on the switch and run code from it?

I'm guessing Nintendo has security checks in their own games, but what if you were to try this on a third party game (more than likely one which is poorly made?)

Big N did it well on latest console, even if you manage to compromise a title, there is no way to a real compromise of the console because everything is isolated

Interested how? Do you craft exploits? Have you replicated POC exploits for other things? Have an understanding of how the NFC protocols work and how they can be exploited? Know how software is sandboxed and isolated from the underlying OS and how to break out of that sandbox?

I'm just being direct. There have been countless threads asking "Can XXXX be used as an exploit?" and they're usually started by people who have no idea how the exploits work or could be used to gain access to the OS.

If you wish to learn that's great, but you should start by examining the existing things rather than asking of something completely new can be done.

Pretty sure last time I checked you don't have to know everything about something to be interested in it. I know a fair bit when it comes to 3ds exploits however I'm quite new to the idea of switch exploiting.

People that know the inner workings of a Switch have already run countless tests to know what they can or can't do

No. Nintendo know their shit well when it comes to security, highly doubt that an NFC tag could enable anything as near to RCM.
