So my OG switch is slightly bent, I know a TON of people have had this issue in the past and I also know a ton of people sent their switch in to Nintendo to be fixed well I never did that and it’s a few years too late . The bend is near the apu area and kinda scares the crap out of me. I’m thinking about swapping out the mid frame for a nice and straight one in hopes to preserve my switch for many many more years. Has anyone else done that? It seems that’s exactly what Nintendo did as people that were sending them back all still had the same screen protectors, serial numbers, scratches when they were returned. What else could they have do to get them straight again?

Maybe it's just a matter of loosening the screws?
Taking it apart and putting it back together might just release the tension.
PCB and metal does not change it for easily.
So that leaves you with either the outside case or the display.
