So me and my mom decided (mostly me

) that we are going to look for the old Ataris we have in the scary attic!

She said something about them destroying our TVs long time ago, but she said he may have been another game console they had (Aqaurius something :S ).

So could this this true? I have never heard about it before.

Im gonna look for them anyways though. I love old games and game consoles.

I've never had a problem with 'em. I have an Atari 2600 hooked up to a 480p CRT right now, and play it pretty often (Turmoil FTW!)
If you plug it into an LCD monitor, you'll have to have an RF to composite box mediating things anyway, so no worries.
If you have an LCD with a tuner, it just goes into the antenna input from the modulator and as far as I know that'll be fine as well.

Those tv's of your mom's probably were doomed for other reasons, and the fact that the 2600 was hooked up at the time of failure made it seem like the game system was to blame (basically a non-sequitur.)
