ROM Hack Bink on ds

As some of you may know some ds game's use the bink video thing for high compression, The Site, now using ndstool i extracted rom 1582 and i found some bik files, i could view them, and put my own bik files in there, my question is, using some sort of programming language for the ds could we make a bink movie maker, so if people had movies the could be compressed, just a thought.

Movies can already be compressed and played on the ds, moonshell does a great job of it.
