Homebrew Backing up Gamecube savegames on a Wii?

Hey,

I came across this homebrew app called Gamecube Saver. It allows you to transfer .gcm gamecube files to your GC memory card. I was wondering, can this be done the other way around? Can you backup savegames from your GC memory card to an SD card?
