PS1/2 AR MAX Evo and media player

Hi,

So - on the strength of the articles at http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/armax.php , and wanting to run some PS demos and a few old psone game backups, I decided to by the ar max evo edition -

it arrived yesterday, and I finally got it to boot up (first attempts it kept saying "insert a ps or ps2 format disk"), but when I tried to find the media player section, it's nowhere to be seen!

Were there a number of different versions of the evo edition - the box says it's evo, and the manual says evo, but doesn't refer to the media player??

I'm confused.com.....

use the old xmas exploit where the action replay patches its self i ran into this too, the exploit is on sks forums and psx scene

scan through the pages the files are in there to run elf files from usb via xmas exploit.

looks disappointing at first but go past the first few pages to get the good stuff...
