Emulation Adnroid 14 - Steam link and general button mapping

Hi guys, newbie here.
I’ve been trying to find some info, but honestly, I feel kinda lost.


I’ve got my Switch running Android 14 just to use Steam Link. I’m not sure if this is normal, but once I connect remotely to my PC using Steam Link, it seems like only the R button and the right stick are working. When I check the button mapping in the Steam settings, it’s just… chaos.

• The right stick acts as the left stick.
• The left stick doesn't respond at all.
• R3 is being detected as L3.
• ZR and ZL do nothing.
• D-Pad doesn’t register.
• B behaves like X.
• X behaves like A.
• Home and Photo buttons dosnt' work.
• ...and so on.

Is there any way to remap this or fix it? I have no idea what I’m doing, and when I click the “Settup Device inputs” option in Steam, nothing happens:

Use Android 15, everything else is discontinued. You probably wont have issues there. You can easily upgrade to 15 with your current partition.
