Hardware 32 gb sd card help

Alright, you should turn that switch to off, and click "more options" right under that. Once in the "more options" menu, click "See advanced settings" under the related settings menu, and take a picture of this screen that comes up please

Alright, perfect.

You should be able to just delete the entire FileHistory folder from your SD card.

Did it. So that's it right?
It should be. You've gotten back all of your space right? If it appears to happen again, you know the cause ;)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

(Make sure your 3DS still boots and the SD functions as it had before, before emptying your recycling bin btw, you shouldn't have any issues since that's a completely unrelated folder to the 3DS though)

No problem, don't know if you saw it since I sent it after you started replying, but make sure your 3DS boots fine and the SD works as intended before emptying your recycling bin just in case
