    It works every time except for Princess Peach but that could be a corrupt rom. My card has problems to be recognized by the DS. I have to put it in several times before it works but that is not a firmware problem.

    Hardware Dead Wii-drive

    You've made a real mess of the one you've got there. It will be almost impossible to repair that one. I'd say trash the drive and buy a DMS/D2A/D2B drive which are much easier to modify. It is almost impossible to solder right on the chip without a good magnifier and soldering iron.

    Yes it will. Don't use trucha signed discs though. If you want to use those you will need to use the Gecko OS workaround.

    Gaming Dell or HP?

    I'd recommend a Dell. HP can be a real pain in the *ss. I own a Dell C600 (2001/P3 750 Mhz/512 MB/40 GB) and it's still working fine.
