    looks like Nintendo is saying Brawl may not work if the console is dirty, and are offering to have you send in your console for a "fix." But aren't Wiikey-ed wii's the only ones that can't read the DL discs? Could this be a ruse to get their hands on chipped wii's? hmmm....... p.s...

    Ever been pissed at a game?

    i haven't been issed at a games since i was a little kid. i remembering throwing the controller and slapping the ground so hard, playing Captain Planet and the Planeteers back on the NES. That was one frustrating game!

    in the medium run, it will probably be pretty bad. but, long-term, once the US market crashes and the world realizes that Canada still has tons of oil and lumber, and we get some Asian markets to buy into the country, everything will be right as rain! ...unless the US happens to "find" some...

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
