    I have fixed this. The problem is rubbing plastic. First I applied a VERY small amount of penetrating oil where the plastic was rubbing. This mostly fixed the problem but it started to come back. So I placed a folded piece of wax paper between the d-pad and 3ds housing and worked the dpad...

    I have done warranty program with Nintendo for my Wii and it was a very nice experience. However I don't want to send it away if I don't have to. I tried using an air compressor to blow out every opening I could find on my 3ds (thinking maybe it was dust) but that didn't do anything either.

    Yes I will most likely warranty it with Nintendo. Mostly I wanted to make this video to see if other people have had this same problem. I have heard people complain about hinge but I wonder how many people have a squeaky d-pad as well.

    Hacking Black R4/M3 Case???

    I ordered mine a while ago (near it's release) it came white and also came with black housing in the package. My cousin ordered him a couple months after me. It came white. (No extra housing) I ordered one for my brother and one for my girlfriend last week. Both of them are black.

    although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)

    @BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.

    If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.

    and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

    @BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
