    Only if you have a custom theme from what I could troubleshoot. Removing the .overlay folder inside the switch folder will allow you to boot. If you uninstall the custom theme, you can add the folder again and it will boot normally.

    Yeah it has something to do with themes and the overlays. If you just remove the overlay folder it will start up. So I don't know if just reinstalling the theme might help.

Just tried this out so this is fresh and confirmed information: Rytmik World Music DOES NOT work. 2 € down the drain! Jagged Alliance DOES WORK, confirm DOES WORK and is NOT PULLED.

    Exactly where on the power line do I check? My daughter board is fine, I checked with another console. And I guess my charge is fine as well since I can charge my battery.

    I'm having the same problem as you are having. However my daughter board and charge ic are both fine. So if you can borrow a daughter board to test would be best, cause it might not be what you need. Does anybody know where the power ic is located? And where there power runs from the battery so...

    Yes it is a quick faint flash, that last for 0.1 sec perhaps. I will try the other daughter board tomorrow and I'll get back to you then. auto That's strange. The other working n3ds I have access to doesn't work with power only. It needs the battery to work. :unsure:

    Okay, so I put my battery in my brothers n3ds xl and drained the battery. I then put it back in mine and tried to charge. Result: The battery charged to full.     Yeah a faint red light blinks once. Are there any ways to test this before buying the needed components? edit: forgot to mention with the charger plugged in I have orange LED on the whole time.

    If I put in my charging cable the LED turns on, so they are connected. I actually tried to power on the console with battery and power cable connected and I got a different result. Instead of nothing happening, the notification light blinked red briefly. So it seems something is shorted or fried...
