    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

But isn't Nintendont installed on the SD card in any case? It works when it isn't injected in the Wii U menu, Nintendont can load GC games in Wii mode from the SD card. Is it about not seeing the game because it's installed in the other partition of the SD ("NAND")? Then why does the error...

Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

GC VC injects seem not to work with this for some reason. When I go to install them I only get the NAND option (which has turned into an SD partition after this hack). I get "boot.dol not found" (localised differently based on the injection method) when trying to launch such an inject. Is this...

Homebrew Tutorial SDUSB - The modern way to play Wii U games from SD - at full speed

Any more details on this? What does the error look like and do you know what causes it? I have redirected the internal memory to an SD through redNAND and I seem to have a similar issue. I get "boot.dol not found" (localised differently based on the injection method) when trying to launch a GC...

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

https://gbatemp.net/threads/fixing-system-memory-error-160-0103-failing-emmc-without-soldering-using-rednand-with-isfshax.642268/ It's a fix for failing eMMC's, mainly for those unlucky enough to have Wii U's with Hynix chips. Basically you reroute the Wii U's internal storage to instead use a...

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

apps/Nintendont. The vWii sees it. I'm using redNAND on an SD card with two partitions, one having the internal Wii U memory and the other the homebrew with a FA32 format. Which author? Do you have a link? Nintendont itself generally works on the vWii (but it doesn't recognise the Wiimotes for...

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

Tested it with TeconMoon too. I get the same "boot.dol not found" error, just localized differently.

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

I replicated this. Hacked the vWii and installed nintendont, but the same issue persists, with the inject being in the NAND (with no other option for installation available). 1740527406 (I have only tried UWUVCI, not TeconMoon)

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

So this comment is wrong? How would you install Nintendont without hacking the vWii anyway, if it needs to be installed there?

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

So UWUVCI doesn't actually install Nintendont, it just forwards its functionality to the Wii U menu if it is already installed on the vWii, correct? (I was under the impression it was standalone)

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

No, I just have Aroma. Yes I am using redNAND, and the injects are installed to NAND (from a second FAT32 where I store the installers).

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

My SD normally doesn't have an "app" folder at root. Other apps are in wiiu/apps. 1740339002 I've tried with both "Nintendont" and "nintendont", both at root and in the wiiu folder, nothing works. Do I need to have installed something else?

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

Yes this is pretty much what UWUVCI is doing and it doesn't seem to work. Aroma doesn't have anything else in a root "app" folder, can it read this over there?

Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

That's weird. Maybe someone more qualified should answer, but it should practically be a different system, so the error you're encountering should be unrelated. The Wii inside each Wii U is kind of a different component with its own storage.

Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

I'm currently using a 512GB SD (32GB FAT32, others for the MLC) and it seems to work fine. Maybe it's this specific one, or the MLC is somehow corrupted. It's also the exact same error I got when I messed up the MLC in my old card while the FAT32 was still intact.

    UWUVCI Aroma compatibility

Is UWUVCI compatible with Aroma? A Wii inject I tried worked, but none of the GameCube ones do, they all say the boot.dol is missing. I assume it's an issue with Nintendont not being set up properly, but I installed it through UWUVCI by specifying the location of my SD. I don't know much...

Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

Confused the two partitions (thought the NTFS was supposed to be pc-readable and FAT32 was the Wii U-internal one) and ran CHKDSK on the MLC. I reinstalled on a new card, I still have the messed up one intact and unmodified since then.

Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

So, regarding this, I don't know much about the specifics behind the hack, but may any of the data in the corrupted partition still be salvageable? I originally gave up on it because I knew the Wii U encrypted its storage, but I just noticed the [disable_encryption] mlc=false line in...

Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

So I did this successfully once, then messed up the formerly-NFTS partition, so now the console hangs at the "GO GO GO" part when trying to boot aroma (since the FAT32 is still intact) when the sd card is in. Without the sd, the old, default Wii U boots. However, the light is always purple in...

Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

Should FTPiiu appear as a separate app? Because I put the .wps file in and it shows up in the L+down+select menu but there is no app in the home screen.
