Hacking Hackable PS3 models and information

Yeah, all the firmware and tools have already been ported over to the new version. No need for any new detailed guides because the jailbreaking method is identical to what it used to, just make sure you use 4.91 CFW / HFW.

GitLab has taken down the Suyu Nintendo Switch emulator

Yeah, it's self-hosted now, so there's no 3rd party to send DMCA claims to. And if someone tries to use the DMCA link on the new git they'll have a nice surprise.

Hacking Hackable PS3 models and information

A few bugs have been reported and fixed. I think that if no new bugs are discovered in the next few days we can consider Evilnat 4.91 to be truly complete, at which point there would be absolutely no reason to install 4.90 CFW anymore. The fact that the new CFW is based on a newer OFW doesn't...

Hacking Hackable PS3 models and information

tbh I'm not really sure what was already in 4.90 and what wasn't, so I can't give you a complete list but new features include the ability to change the console region, playing REDUMP ISOs without prior decryption (given that you have a matching IRD), ability to install DEX OFW on a converted...

Hacking Hackable PS3 models and information

It actually adds quite a lot. Evilnat had been working on 4.90.2 for many months, adding a lot of new features, but then Sony released 4.91 so (probably) 4.90.2 was abandoned but all of those new CFW features are included with Evilnat 4.91.

Syncing trophies with PS3Hen pirated games and ban question

I might be a bit late but better late than never. Syncing trophies on modded systems is not 100% safe but is normally safe if syscalls are disabled - assuming the trophies are legit. Regarding game backups - Syncing trophies of backups is generally fine if they're backups of physical (disc)...

    wii-linux-ngx kernel 4.4

I actually managed to natively compile it on the Wii itself. The problem is for some reason it can't find the root partition and hangs on startup.

    wii-linux-ngx kernel 4.4

I found a repository containing a port of Linux kernel v4.4 to wii-linux-ngx. Found two (seemingly) identical copies, not sure which one is the proper one: ThatsItForTheOtherOne/wii-linux-ngx/tree/v4.4 techflashYT/wii-linux-ngx/tree/v4.4 (both on GitHub) The default 3.x kernel that is included...

Which SD card I should buy?

SanDisk works great for me. It's difficult to find full sized SD cards these days so I use a microSD+adapter. Like Magsor said there are a lot of scams involving storage devices (SSD / USB disk / SD card etc.) that report themselves as having a capacity way larger than they actually do, leading...

    BootMii hangs on startup

Hello, Sorry for the n00b question if it is one but I'm just getting into the Wii scene (I'm usually a PlayStation person). So I just got a 2nd hand Wii, which came premodded, so I'm not sure which exploit they used. The issue is that BootMii doesn't work (I've also tried updating it and it...
